Council Meeting Report 27.06.17

The CPBS council met on Tuesday evening in Gullane's Hotel, Ballinasloe for their monthly meeting.  The upcoming Annual Connemara Pony Show was high  on the agenda and plans are well underway for the three day show. The show will commence on Wednesday morning with a new International Connemara Performance Hunter class. Teams for this competition will be invited from the teams selected to compete in the RDS International Performance Hunter class. Pony  and all Connemara Classses on Saturday 17th. The Munster Agricultural Society is happy to announce two new Connemara Classes at this year's Show. Equine Identification Regulations – Breeders please read

Keepers are responsible for ensuring that equines have the relevant identification documents issued within 12 months from the date of birth of the animal. In this context, it might be noted that keepers are required to submit a completed application for an equine to an appropriate PIO within 6 months from the date of the equine's birth.
