Stallion Parade Catalogue 2014

The annual stallion parade was a great success again this year.  The showgrounds was busy all day yesterday with stallions on parade for nearly five hours.  There was traditional music and Seanos dancing and the Choo Choo train was still going after the parade was over.  The Western Riding display gave people an insight to Western Riding and members of the Corribway Pony Club enjoyed getting their photo taken with Alessia from the Western Riding.  Alana Cazabon Sullivan, who is only home from the UK after securing her place for the Europeans Dressage team was...

Congratulations to Alana Cazabon Sullivan and Blackwood Dancer on qualifying for the European Dressage Champions at the International Dressage Show held at Addington, UK. Blackwood Dancer (Ferdia x Dancing Queen) is owned by Alana's grandmother Judy Cazabon, and was bred by Anthony & Janice Linden who also bred prolific performers Blackwoodland Rock and Blackwood Fernando. Blackwood Dancer and Alana were previously successful at the National Dressage Champions and won the CPBS sponsorship. This was just their fourth test at medium level the highest test for ponies and were awarded a credible 62.5%. Connemara Pony Spring Festival

The Connemara Pony Spring festival will take place from Thursday 27th March to Sunday 30th March. Traditionally the festival has focused on Connemara stallions and this year is no different. Colt inspections will take place on Thursday 27th March in Mullingar Equestrian Centre from 9am and at the Showgrounds, Clifden on Saturday 29th March.
