Online Stallion Parade

Members of the CPBS are invited to submit profiles of their stallion(s) for the CPBS Online Stallion Event 2021 to be launched on the Facebook page. This event is for members only and there is no charge. Closing date for submissions is Tuesday March 30th at 5pm and they will be uploaded on Sunday 4th April. They will be archived permanently in a folder on the Facebook page. More success for Blackwoodland Rock

After success at Le Mans (France) in the autumn with Gabrielle Enright, Blackwoodland Rock (I love You Melody x Grey Rock Trish) returned to Ireland in January 2020 to the Enright family stables in Fermoy, Co Cork.  Gabrielle (15) took up riding at the age of 10 and a year later her family purchased her first Connemara pony, followed by three more.  Gabrielle had success showing her ponies Omey Darlin and Ardfry Remy but wanted to focus on showjumping for her final year in ponies. Pat Lyne Remembered

The Connemara pony and its kinsfolk have lost a true friend with the sad news that Pat Lyne has passed away, aged 91 years. Although living in the United Kingdom, Pat had a very close association with the people of Connemara and their ponies for over forty years, and her immeasurable amount of knowledge gleaned was demonstrated in the many books she wrote rolling back the mists of time and place, taking readers down many a boreen to meet famous ponies and breeders, discuss diverse pedigree lines and share recollections...
