Council Meeting 28-11-2016

The CPBS Council had their final council meeting of 2016 on Monday evening (28th).  The president held a minutes silence for the late Claire Lowe (CPBS Judge) and the late Bertie McNamara (brother of Joe McNamara (CPBS judge).

The main topic on the agenda was a review of the CPBS inspection process. All council members present had the opportunity to give their views and recommendations to the meeting.  The inspection committee will present recommendations for a change to the inspection process at the first council meeting in the new year scheduled for Wednesday 4th January.

It is intended to host seminars in all four provinces in January/February to meet with breeders and owners and address inspections and HWSD.

The CPBS Christmas Show takes place on Saturday 10th December in Creagh Equestrian Centre, Ballinalsoe, Co Galway commencing at 10am with the Showjumping competitions. The two foal classes and the four year old and over registered mare class will take place after the showjumping.  We are delighted to have Cul Ban Mistress with us on the day for a Show jumping demonstration with rider Kate Derwin. Closing date for in hand entries is this Friday 2nd and showjumping entries taken on the day.
