Council Meeting Report

The CPBS Council convened for its first meeting of 2016 yesterday in Ballinasloe. It was agreed to include Health and Safety on every Council meeting agenda in future. The main part of the meeting was devoted to forming sub committees and assigning roles and responsibilities to the sub committees. Each committee was asked to submit a plan and a budget before the next Council meeting on 31st January. The following sub committees were formed:

Each sub committee met for a planning session and then reported back to the Council.

The Council agreed that Blue Eyed Cream mares and stallions are eligible for Class one and those previously presented for inspection that achieved sufficient marks to be eligible for Class one do not need to be re-inspected.

It was agreed that ponies presented on Saturday for classification may not be entered for inspection again in Spring.
