The Connemara Pony Breeders’ Society is sorry to hear of the recent passing of Tomás O’Máille from Derrartha Beg, Ceathr Rua. Tomás and his brother Bartley bred Connemara ponies under the prefix “Derrartha”.  The brothers stood many stallions including Abbeyleix Owen, Maam Hill, Loobeen Larry, Fort Dara, Seafield Silver Rogue, Cong Admiral and Robe Blue Thunder.  Tomás served as a CPBS Council member from 1998 to 1999.

Tomás will be sadly missed by his many friends at the Connemara Pony shows. The society wishes to offer its condolences to the Ó’Máille family.

May he rest in peace
