All new  Connemara pony registrations since 2016 are tested for HWSD (Hoof Wall Separation Disease) and will have the result stamped on the inside of the back cover of their CPBS passport. Any Connemara pony  tested for HWSD and where the  result is reported to the CPBS will also have their passport stamped.

Please ensure to check or ask when purchasing a Connemara Pony or bringing your mare to stud. We would encourage all breeders to have their mares tested.
