New Market for Connemara Ponies

Connemara Pony Sales Clifden is proud to announce that after several months of emails, telephone calls, paperwork and a visit from a delegation of 5 people from South Korea, a fantastic new venture between Clifden Pony Sales and South Korea has resulted in the departure of 30 Connemara Ponies sought by Connemara Pony Sales. The ponies left Clifden & Mullingar for South Korea today. They consisted of 27 in foal mares, 2 ridden ponies and 1 registered Class 1 Stallion. The ponies were sold by 25 different breeders from 10 different counties all over Ireland. A lot of work and time went into this project but great to see it a success. Hopefully this may be the first of many ponies exported to South Korea. They will stay in quarantine for 14 days in Germany before flying to South Korea.
