CPBS Council Election 2022

The Connemara Pony Breeders’ Society Council Election count that took place this morning (11.11.2022) at Gullanes Hotel, Ballinasloe, Co Galway has now been concluded.

The results for each province are as follows;

The following four candidates have been elected for Connacht

Mr. Daragh Kevin Ó’Tuairisg – Seat C9 – 3 year term

Ms. Ann Marie Conroy – Seat C10 – 3 year term

Mr. Kevin Bolger – Seat C11 – 3 year term

Mr. Pierce O’Malley – Seat C12 – 3 year term

The following two candidates have been elected for Leinster

Mrs. Clare Oakes – Seat L3 – 3 year term

Mr. Alan Woods – Seat L1- 2 year term

Ms. Aine Geoghegan requested a re-count. The results of the re-count remained the same.

The following two candidates have been elected to Munster

Mr. Andrew O’Donoghue – Seat M3 – 3 year term

Mrs. Ulla-Dorothea Connolly – Seat M1- 2 year term

The following two candidates have been elected to Ulster

Mr. James Naan – Seat U2 – 2 year term

Ms. Nicola Fitzgerald – Seat U1 – 1 year term
