Council Meeting Report

The Council of the CPBS met last night in the Westwood House Hotel. Following the ICCPS AGM in Clifden it was reported by the International committee that next year the ICCPS AGM will be held on the Wednesday of show week instead of Tuesday. The Marketing committee reported that the stand at the Ploughing Championships was a good success and thanked the Midlands Group, the Southern Group and the South Eastern Group for their help in manning the stand. CPBS Council Elections

CPBS Council Elections In relation to the election to Council, members are reminded that 11 seats are available in Connacht, 2 in Ulster, 3 in Leinster and 3 in Munster. Ballot papers will be issued to voting members in late October and subsequently members will be kept informed re. further procedures and dates. The newly elected Council should be in place by the end of November. In downloading the nomination form it will be clear that it is simple and stright forward not a lengthy questionaire as some may have suggested. Hopefully there...
