Therapeutic Riding Family Fun Day

The look of contentment and joy on Jack’s face as he petted the pony’s neck said it all.  Jack is 7 years old and has autism.  This was the first time he had been astride a Connemara pony and it’s an experience he’ll never forget. Transfer of Ownership

Please note the following comes into effect from 1st July 2014 as outlined by the Department of Agriculture: Upon  transfer of ownership of an equine to another person, the person transferring ownership  shall – (a)     give the single lifetime identification document issued in respect of the equine to the new owner, (b)    make a declaration in writing that he or she has transferred ownership of the equine to the new owner, (c)    forward  the declaration referred to in this Regulation to the person acquiring ownership of the equine. CPBS awards Top placed Connemara at Dressage Ireland Finals

Tom Mac Lochlainn travelled to Cavan Equestrian Centre at the weekend to present Alana Cazabon Sullivan with a cheque for €100 and a rosette for the top placed Connemara at the winter finals of Dressage Ireland.  Alana was riding  the 16 yr old grey gelding Blackwood Dancer (by: Ferdia and ex: Dancing Queen) owned by Judy Cazabon and Enda Keane.  Alana recently qualified Blackwood Dancer along with another pony (non Connemara) for the Europeans which will be held in July at Millstreet , Co Cork Well done to everyone involved.             Photos courtesy of Primephotography  ...
