Equine Premises Number

Equine Premises Numbers As of 7th of February 2020 all Passport Issuing Organisations (PIO’s) can not proceed with type 1 (foal and pony registrations) and type 3 (pony importation) applications if they are not accompanied with a valid equine premises number. A list of all RVO can be found on the Departments website https://www.agriculture.gov.ie/contact/regionalveterinaryoffices/   Please ensure when submitting a DNA application or pony importation applications that they are accompanied with a valid equine premises number.  We cannot proceed with your application where there is an invalid equine premises number   Anyone who keeps or allows an...

Council Meeting 20.02.2020

Council Meeting - 20 February 2020 At the recent Council Meeting of the CPBS the following items were agreed: Colt Inspections for 2020: the decision was made that colt inspections for 2020 will be conducted in the same format as in 2019. Loose jumping for colts will be compulsory. The Spring Weekend full schedule was approved and may be viewed on the website. New to the schedule will be a loose jumping option in the Showgrounds would be available for stallions taking part in the Stallion Parade at the Spring Weekend...

The Annual General Meeting of the Connemara Pony Breeder’s Society took place on Saturday, 7th December, 2020 in the Shearwater Hotel, Ballinasloe.
