Connemara Pony Show Festival Dates 2018   The 2018 Connemara Pony Festival will run from Wednesday, 15th August to Friday, 17th August, 2018.   The full schedule for all three days will be announced at the International Meeting, 8pm on Friday evening, 23rd March 2018 at the Spring Weekend in the Station House Hotel, Clifden. Clifden Show Judges Thursday 16th August

CLIFDEN SHOW JUDGES Thursday 16th August, 2018 Ring One : In Hand Class Judges: Ms Catherine Angel Ms Susan Byrne Ms Claire Oakes All judges will comply with the three year rule and not have judged at Clifden in the years 2015, 2016 and 2017. Unfortunately there will NOT be a High Performance qualifier at the Galway County Show this year, however  there will be a qualifier at the Midlands Connemara Pony Breeders Show in Mullingar on Sunday 31st July. Showjumping Success

  The unqualified success of the show jumping programme at the Creagh Christmas Show begs the question why this did not happen before now. Seventy-five ponies jumped in the four competitions, 80, 90, 1m and 1.10, most of them in two competitions. Despite the torrential rain and flooding, the showjumpers seemed to come out of the woodwork for what was somewhat of a watershed in how we market our pony.
