Connemara Pony Elite Sales 2015

We are pleased to announce that almost all details for the upcoming 2015 Elite Sale have been finalised. They are as follows:
Selection Days:
There are 3 Selection Days planned.
The northern selection day:
The Meadows Equestrian Center,
Embankment Rd., Lurgan Co. Armagh BT666FD
Mon. 6th April
The southern selection day:
Thurles Equestrian Center,
Thurles, Co. Tipperary
Sat. 11th April
The western / eastern selection day:
Athlone Equestrian Center
Moydrum, Athlone, Co. Westmeath.
Sun. 12th April
All venues are subject to entry numbers, and all have a 10a.m. start.
Selection Day Entries:
The price of entry to the Selection Day is €100. Entry Forms for the selection days are available for download from our website (just click on the link and print the resulting page). Entry forms must be returned by Fri. 20th March to Elite Sale Entry, C/o Padraig Heanue, Connemara Sales Co., Galway Rd., Clifden, Co. Galway. and must be accompanied by the selection day entry fee to be considered valid (All payments to be made payable to the CPESG),
Going forward to the Sale:
Owners of ponies selected over the course of the Selection Days will be informed of the fact by the 14th of April. A charge of €50 applies to successful ponies to enter the Sale itself. This must be returned to the same address as above (again payable to the CPESG), with the name of the pony attached, by the 20th of April. Vet certs and x-rays (taken AFTER the pony's selection) must be returned - again to the above address - by the 9th of May.
Pony Height:
The pony will be measured by a CPESG vet during the course of the pony's Selection Day. It is this height that will be listed by the CPESG in all sale literature for the Elite Sale. No other height measurement will be considered or valid for the purposes of the Elite Sale.
Catalogue:
It is intended to have a website catalogue available by the 3rd of May, with a print catalogue to follow as soon as is practicable.
The Sale:
The Sale will commence with a display of the ponies in The Showgrounds of Clifden between 4pm and 7pm of the 16th of May. The sale itself will be held in the Station House Hotel immediately after.
