Having marked the Golden Jubilees of the Danish and Swedish Societies recently we now have news of another remarkable Golden Jubilee. For logistical reasons the United States is divided into ten regions and Region One includes the north eastern states of Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode island, Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Next July Region One will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its show. This is a truly inspiring achievement and we congratulate the Region One breeders and owners on a wonderful milestone in the story of the Connemara pony in America. Well done to all and best of luck in the planning in the months ahead.
